Branko Stanišić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Ixona in the 7th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Tiburon Porteño defense, Mauricio Ixona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branko Stanišić. The Tiburon Porteño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branko Stanišić should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Mauricio Ixona fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Branko Stanišić, passed just outside the right post. Ildefonso Lucero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Tiburon Porteño's goalkeeper Branko Stanišić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narciso Gabon. Branko Stanišić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Ixona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Honorio Efren fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tonono's protests and gave Honorio Efren a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tonono getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Honorio Efren hit a great ball. Tiburon Porteño's Branko Stanišić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Ixona in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Tonono's Narciso Gabon made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Branko Stanišić was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Ixona in the 33rd minute of play forced Tiburon Porteño's goalkeeper Branko Stanišić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Modesto Duardo in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Eskuin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Tonono's Ciriaco Hernando got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tonono's goalkeeper Francisco Eskuin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiberto Timo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Tonono got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Etxekopar. In the 60th minute, Tiburon Porteño's Filiberto Timo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Horacio Azubeli hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Ixona in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Branko Stanišić saved Tiburon Porteño from getting behind. 65 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Tonono's Mauricio Ixona fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Teodoro Dimo's late challenge caught a Tonono's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Dimo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute, one of Tiburon Porteño:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tiburon Porteño. Melquiades Iratzeder hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Erubiel Quintan charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erubiel Quintan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Blas Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Tiburon Porteño got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Quintan.
