Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bernardino Jacob made the kick off which started today's match. Alfonso Harriet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Ixona in the 3rd minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Tonono's Mauricio Ixona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Harriet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 9 minutes of play, Elena's Samuel Gaskon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Eskuin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfonso Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Ixona in the 14th minute of the match. Carmelo Otsoko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Eskuin having to interfere. Francisco Eskuin came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Elena's Bernardino Jacob. But to his dismay, Bernardino Jacob quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. If Teo Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Eskuin made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Carmelo Otsoko sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, Elena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Jacob to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teo Ospetsu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Eskuin saved Tonono from getting behind. Carmelo Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Gabon kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tonono's Francisco Eskuin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Tonono from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Ixona in the 43rd minute of the match. Elena's Alfonso Harriet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Ixona in the 45th minute of play. Samuel Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Francisco Eskuin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elena. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Carmelo Otsoko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes, Amado Fliz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elena and the Tonono players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Elena got a freekick which was hit by Amado Fliz. Samuel Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Eskuin having to interfere. Bernardino Jacob might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Eskuin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernardino Jacob ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Eskuin came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Elena's Teo Ospetsu. But to his dismay, Teo Ospetsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, Bernardino Jacob notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Tonono's Francisco Eskuin. Francisco Eskuin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Narciso Gabon hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. It was a well-played corner which Erubiel Bernebe managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Gaskon in the 86th minute of play forced Tonono's goalkeeper Francisco Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Jacob's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Eskuin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Otsoko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Eskuin was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Francisco Eskuin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Gaskon, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 97th minute of the match Elena got a corner. Tonono's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rigoberto Ishmael ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 97 played minutes Tonono got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Etxekopar. After a defensive mix-up in Tonono's zone, Rigoberto Ishmael stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Eskuin came out of the goal and Rigoberto Ishmael tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Elena players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
