Spectators: 6623 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Amancio Lastur kicked off to start the match. After 15 minutes, Gogo Tonete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vergara FC and the Escobar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, one of Vergara FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vergara FC. In the 20th match minute, Escobar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Gustau to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Amancio Lastur left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vergara FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Beltza in the 28th minute of play forced Escobar's goalkeeper Romeo Casomiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Candido Chap was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vergara FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Escobar the free kick. Candido Chap hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Amancio Lastur who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escobar's Romeo Casomiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th match minute, Escobar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Abad to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Ikatz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 minutes of play Vergara FC's Candido Chap was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 46th minute, Candido Chap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Ikatzs short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Nicolas Etxatxu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Abad to make the kick off. The Vergara FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Vergara FC's Amancio Lastur looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nicolas Etxatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Ikatz in the 60th minute of play. Vergara FC's Nicolas Etxatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Crescencio in the 62nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Amancio Lastur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vergara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Lastur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Casomiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Aaron Beltza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74thth minute of the game Ambrosio Abad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vergara FC's Nicolas Etxatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Escobar's Ambrosio Abad got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 78th minute Ambrosio Abad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Escobar's Romeo Casomiro got control of the ball when Amancio Lastur tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Amancio Lastur dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Romeo Casomiro, 1-3. Romeo Casomiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Lastur in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Vergara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Nuñez to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Etxatxu came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Escobar's Ambrosio Abad. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Abad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Romeo Casomiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amancio Lastur in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Vergara FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Escobar throughout the match.
