After a rather tough play, Rio Cuarto F.C's Alejandro Otoniel got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 22 minutes, Tanju Timurcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Cuarto F.C and the Jota FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jota FC booed when Rio Cuarto F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tanju Timurcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luciano Urre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Rivero in the 26th minute of the match. Rio Cuarto F.C's Horacio Firman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Txordon in the 28th minute of play. Damaso Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Rio Cuarto F.C were awarded a corner. Anacleto Jaunzuria went to the cornerflag to take it. Anacleto Jaunzuria made a great header on Rio Cuarto F.C's corner, it was just that Jota FC's Luciano Urre managed to reach the ball for a save. Horacio Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Txordon in the 39th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Jota FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Paulin came free, but Luciano Urre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ernest Kubr's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Luciano Urre skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ernest Kubr was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 58th minute. Rio Cuarto F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Erubiel Paulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Luciano Urre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Jota FC's Luciano Urre got control of the ball when Ernest Kubr tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Camerino charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Camerino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jota FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Marco Camerino hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, one of Rio Cuarto F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rio Cuarto F.C. Marco Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. After 78th play minutes Rodolfo Txordon shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Horacio Firman and just under the crossbar into goal. If Damaso Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Estebe in the 90th minute of play forced Rio Cuarto F.C's goalkeeper Horacio Firman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jota FC's Rodolfo Txordon got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Txordon in the 94th minute of play.
