Ciro Crescencio came out of the goal and Baltasar Cheche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natalio Venceslas hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Cheche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ciro Crescencio was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Baltasar Cheche's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciro Crescencio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Liebig 's Tiburcio Bingen pulled a muscle in his back after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 22 minutes, Rafael Nayely mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talva and the Liebig players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafael Nayely hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Cheche in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Crescencio saved Liebig from getting behind. A collision led to Liebig getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Teofilo Banegas hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Talva 's goalkeeper Leon Urritz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Liebig 's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Cheche came free, but Ciro Crescencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Liebig 's goalkeeper Ciro Crescencio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Montez. In the 41st minute Baltasar Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Crescencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Alejo Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Montez got free with Ciro Crescencio in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Liebig 's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alejo Montez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 50th match minute, Liebig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celso Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Cheche struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ciro Crescencio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talva . A collision led to Talva getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Emanuel Orlondo hit a great ball. Ciro Crescencio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejo Montez in the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Liebig defense, Alejo Montez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Crescencio. The Liebig fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Crescencio should have stopped the shot. Alejo Montez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Liebig 's Victorino Ibar got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Liebig 's zone, Alejo Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Crescencio came out of the goal and Alejo Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Talva 's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
