Marcelino Koldobika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Marcelino Koldobika didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torgny Nyström went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Roque Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Evaristo Presebal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Johans was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guanaco FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Tapia. Saturnino Montae stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marcelino Koldobika. 2-2. Guanaco FC's Narciso Bihar got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sergio Johans was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Narciso Bihar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Narciso Bihar really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2.

When Hugo Sabin fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapia's protests and gave Hugo Sabin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd minute, Hugo Sabin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 53 minutes, Evaristo Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Presebal in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Johans saved Tapia from getting behind.
