Justo Lorencio hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Tottenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Betadur to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Gervasio Gilesindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Roldan in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Florencio Gutierrez made the kick off in the second half. Zeledon Cortez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tottenham. The supporters of naranja 74 booed when Tottenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Romeo Roldan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The referee ignored naranja 74's protests and gave Julian Johans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Julian Johans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Roldan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Tottenham's Gervasio Gilesindo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Cortez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 87 played minutes naranja 74 got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Austin. Tottenham walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
