Zeledon Cortez came out of the goal and Narciso Bihar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Bihar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Evaristo Presebal sped through naranja 74's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zeledon Cortez. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Florencio Gutierrez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Narciso Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, naranja 74's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Presebal came free, but Zeledon Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. naranja 74's Florencio Gutierrez got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Presebal in the 35th minute of play forced naranja 74's goalkeeper Zeledon Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zeledon Cortez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Narciso Bihar went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Leo Vachon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Cortez having to interfere. Zeledon Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Presebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Bihar in the 44th minute of the match. naranja 74's Zeledon Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Presebal in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Gutierrez was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Narciso Bihar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zeledon Cortez. Narciso Bihar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. After some careless play in the Guanaco FC defense, Emilio Mateo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelino Koldobika. The Guanaco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelino Koldobika should have stopped the shot. Evaristo Presebals short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Zeledon Cortez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zeledon Cortez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Narciso Bihar's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Zeledon Cortez came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Guanaco FC's Leo Vachon. But to his dismay, Leo Vachon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. When Guanaco FC's Evaristo Presebal in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle sounded Guanaco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than naranja 74.
