When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filomeno Policarpio made a kick off. Albino Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Fernandes having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Paraná got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Silviano. In the 61st minute of the match Jacinto Lonzo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Fernandes skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulgencio Ascencio in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danilo Fernandes saved Paraná from getting behind. After some careless play in the Paraná defense, Constantino Salbatore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Fernandes. The Paraná fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Fernandes should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Paraná had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
