Goyeneche's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Normando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Goyeneche's zone, Anier Medero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Galo came out of the goal and Anier Medero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 9th minute Anier Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Goyeneche getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Conrado Kaxen hit a great ball. Bernardino Normando scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Galo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Bahoma's Ismael Neto got control of the ball when Honorato Luzea tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Conrado Kaxen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Goyeneche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bahoma the free kick. When Honorato Luzea fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Goyeneche's protests and gave Honorato Luzea a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Honorato Luzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egil Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ismael Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Mauricio Galo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Medero went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Anier Medero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Galo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Egil Sjöberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Neto having to interfere. The Goyeneche players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bahoma were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Anier Medero made the kick off in the second half. Octavio Elequemedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Neto having to make a save. 54 minutes into the match, Bahoma's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Luzea came free, but Ismael Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Normando's late challenge caught a Goyeneche's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Normando helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardino Normando kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ismael Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Octavio Elequemedo came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Goyeneche fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Elequemedo couldn't finish the play. If Octavio Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauricio Galo made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Anier Medero sent off a good shot on target. When Anier Medero came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bahoma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Medero couldn't finish the play. Anier Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mauricio Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardino Normando kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Octavio Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ismael Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goyeneche. Although Goyeneche had been in control for most of the match, Bahoma still came away with the win.
