In the 13th minute, Oscar Indalecio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Goyeneche's Mauricio Galo didn't even have to move. Efrain Txurio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Galo having to interfere. In the 17th minute Arturo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Elequemedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roque Ihintza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octavio Elequemedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Arturo Fernandes succeeded in the game's 28th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Roque Ihintza came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Goyeneche's Honorato Luzea. But to his dismay, Honorato Luzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Roque Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Honorato Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guerrers F.C.'s Roque Ihintza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Haritz in the 59th minute of play. Roque Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Sjöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artemio Truylos kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Honorato Luzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the game, Artemio Truylos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guerrers F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goyeneche the free kick. A collision led to Guerrers F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play.
