Ruperto Obeko kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Manuel Pepillo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garayalde 's protests and gave Manuel Pepillo a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Pepillo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Feliberto Gonza sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Garayalde 's Gregorio Estevez didn't even have to move. Tanti FC's Francisco Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Lei Hui in the 16th minute of play. Francisco Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gu Lei Hui, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tanti FC's Francisco Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Qwinton in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Victor Erruki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tanti FC and the Garayalde players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tanti FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Victor Erruki hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the game, Juan-Domingo Péron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Francisco Cesario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ben Riley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gu Lei Hui in the 28th minute of play forced Tanti FC's goalkeeper Francisco Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Garayalde defense, Candido Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gregorio Estevez. The Garayalde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gregorio Estevez should have stopped the shot. Gu Lei Hui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Francisco Cesario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Domingo Péron in the 39th minute of play forced Tanti FC's goalkeeper Francisco Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Tanti FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gabriel Banegas hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Zeledon Iaki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Francisco Cesario skillfully saved the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Tanti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gu Lei Hui came free, but Francisco Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanti FC's Francisco Cesario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gu Lei Hui in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 67 played minutes Garayalde got a freekick which was hit by Gu Lei Hui. Garayalde made a substitution. Jonas Frederik replaced Ruperto Obeko. In the 69th minute, Gu Lei Hui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Garayalde 's Ben Riley ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Cesario. Francisco Cesario yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. When Jonas Frederik fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Garayalde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Frederik to maneuver through the defense. Gregorio Estevez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Polo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tanti FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play.
