Rogelio Restu might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Bordat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Restu ran back to his position shaking his head. When Delmar Eriz came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Huanchillas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Eriz couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in MONARCA FC's zone, Delmar Eriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Bordat came out of the goal and Delmar Eriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Foro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Jerold in the 20th minute of play. A hard shot 24 in the game by Rogelio Restu from a close distance when the talented Jacinto Bordat managed to make a qualified save. MONARCA FC's players were relieved. Rogelio Restu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Jacinto Bordat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jacinto Bordat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Restu in the 27th minute. Sebastian Foro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antonio Haritz's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute, Rogelio Restu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Rogelio Restu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Bordat. That made the score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Restu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Marciano Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, MONARCA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albano Jax came free, but Jacinto Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Haritz in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Foro saved Huanchillas from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Paulino Lizer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MONARCA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Teobaldo Mirande charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobaldo Mirande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes MONARCA FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Mirande. The supporters of Huanchillas booed when MONARCA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Mirande didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72ndth minute of the game Rogelio Restu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MONARCA FC's Jacinto Bordat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Delmar Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Rogelio Restu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huanchillas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The supporters of MONARCA FC booed when Huanchillas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MONARCA FC's Isaias Abancens got a free kick in the 88th minute. Huanchillas's Lázaro Cibran got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
