When Victorino Ciano came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Granates Capos del Sur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Ciano couldn't finish the play. If Benedicto Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, SOY GALLINA FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Victorino Ciano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granates Capos del Sur's goalkeeper Bernardino Cordarius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match SOY GALLINA FC got a corner. Granates Capos del Sur's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Andre Theunissen ran over to the corner to take the kick. SOY GALLINA FC's Andre Theunissen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bernardino Cordarius in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th match minute, Granates Capos del Sur was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Oxel to maneuver through the defense. Granates Capos del Sur's Bernardino Cordarius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Theunissen in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Granates Capos del Sur's zone, Fidel Orland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Cordarius came out of the goal and Fidel Orland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Orland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bernardino Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Theobald was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Granates Capos del Sur's zone, Maximiliano Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Cordarius came out of the goal and Maximiliano Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Theobald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Orland took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardino Cordarius. Bernardino Cordarius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidoro Resto during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, SOY GALLINA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Resto to maneuver through the defense. After 66 minutes of play, SOY GALLINA FC's Fidel Orland made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardino Cordarius was left in no man's land by his defense there! 71 minutes into the match, SOY GALLINA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Ponciano came free, but Silverio Hitzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Granates Capos del Sur's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when Maximiliano Theobald scored to the left of an out of position Bernardino Cordarius, making the score, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Orland in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Cordarius saved Granates Capos del Sur from getting behind. The supporters of Granates Capos del Sur booed when SOY GALLINA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Garoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, SOY GALLINA FC's Fidel Orland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Cordarius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bernardino Cordarius acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tobias Rojelio. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Benedicto Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granates Capos del Sur's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silverio Hitzeder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The SOY GALLINA FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
