Lucio Larpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to CLIO FUTBOL CLUB getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Silvestre Olentzaro hit a great ball. Prospero Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Florencio Ovando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CLIO FUTBOL CLUB's Carl Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Oroitz in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Felipe Oroitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLIO FUTBOL CLUB's Carl Hjortberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The CLIO FUTBOL CLUB players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Catúa FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Berart to make the kick off. CLIO FUTBOL CLUB's Carl Hjortberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save CLIO FUTBOL CLUB from getting a goal against them. 63 minutes into the game, Higinio Froylan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CLIO FUTBOL CLUB's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catúa FC the free kick. In the 64th match minute, CLIO FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Froylan to maneuver through the defense. Carl Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Oroitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Raimundo Garin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catúa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Garin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carl Hjortberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 87 minutes into the match, CLIO FUTBOL CLUB's Prospero Berart broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The CLIO FUTBOL CLUB fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Catúa FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
