Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zeledon Berdoi got the match started through his kick off. Santo Hurko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruben Lleir in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Encón FC's Aldo Lleir seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aldo Lleir the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Encón FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aldo Lleir had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Encón FC! In the 15th minute Zeledon Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Hurko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zacarias Ramirez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jairo Llorian made a huge save. In the 19th match minute, Curapaligüé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Quirze to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Aznar scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santo Hurko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anibal Bemabe hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Encón FC defense, Raimundo Aznar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santo Hurko. The Encón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santo Hurko should have stopped the shot. Santo Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Lleir in the 32nd minute of the match. Zacarias Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zacarias Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignacio Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jairo Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zacarias Ramirez got free with Jairo Llorian in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Encón FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curapaligüé were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignacio Matia made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Matia in the 51st minute of play forced Curapaligüé's goalkeeper Jairo Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anibal Bemabe fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Encón FC's protests and gave Anibal Bemabe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Encón FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Anibal Bemabe hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Hugo Lano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabricio Roano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ignacio Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Basilio Quirze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Curapaligüé's Jairo Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Lano in the 66th minute of play. Ignacio Matia scored 2-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Llorian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jairo Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Hugo Lano made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Llorian. Curapaligüé's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Curapaligüé's Jairo Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Matia in the 83rd minute of play. Ignacio Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jairo Llorian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Llorian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Santo Hurko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ruben Lleir showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 93 minute of play. Curapaligüé were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Encón FC's much stronger midfield.
