The supporters of Elperuz Fobal Club booed when Script was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Script's zone, Baltasar Piarres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Gilen came out of the goal and Baltasar Piarres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Gilen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Edwardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Ismael Guerrero hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st match minute, Script was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Quintan to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Piarres kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Elperuz Fobal Club's Rolando Edwardo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 39 minutes, Ciro Conrao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elperuz Fobal Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Conrao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Conrao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Gilen having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Conrao to make the kick off. With his leg Jorge Gilen managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Elperuz Fobal Club's Ciro Conrao fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 58 minutes, Baltasar Piarres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elperuz Fobal Club and the Script players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Elperuz Fobal Club's Baltasar Piarres got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Ciro Conrao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Gilen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Ciro Conrao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elperuz Fobal Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Conrao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Gilen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 played minutes Script got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Ordono. In the 70th minute, Ciro Conrao ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorge Gilen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 74th minute, Ismael Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, Ciro Conrao fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jorge Gilen, passed just outside the right post. Rolando Edwardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Rolando Edwardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baltasar Piarres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elperuz Fobal Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
