Silvio Benvide could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Braulio Beremundo made a huge save. The supporters of Verdugos FC booed when Las Catalinas fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Beremundo made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Paolo Solustiano sent off a good shot on target. Braulio Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Derwin in the 17th minute of play. Silvio Benvide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Braulio Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Silvio Benvide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braulio Beremundo was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Dobromir Gerlach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Beltxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Las Catalinas fc's goalkeeper Braulio Beremundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvio Benvide. A collision led to Las Catalinas fc getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Victoriano Lopez hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Silvio Benvide made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Las Catalinas fc's Braulio Beremundo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Braulio Beremundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Benvide's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute of the match, Silvio Benvide tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Braulio Beremundo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Amadeo Hermelando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silvio Benvide's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Beremundo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Manuel Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdugos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Beremundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Las Catalinas fc's zone, Silvio Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Beremundo came out of the goal and Silvio Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Braulio Beremundo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luisito Derwin in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvio Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Amadeo Hermelando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Las Catalinas fc's zone, Silvio Benvide stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braulio Beremundo came out of the goal and Silvio Benvide tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Benvide in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Beremundo saved Las Catalinas fc from getting behind. If Amadeo Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Silvio Benvide made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Beremundo. Las Catalinas fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Amadeo Hermelando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Benvide in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braulio Beremundo saved Las Catalinas fc from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Benvide in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Beremundo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Las Catalinas fc's Braulio Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Bastian in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Silvio Benvide put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Braulio Beremundo. Braulio Beremundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Bastian in the 79th minute of the match. The Verdugos FC fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Verdugos FC's Silvio Benvide looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Las Catalinas fc's Braulio Beremundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Benvide in the 87th minute of play. Silvio Benvide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braulio Beremundo having to make a save. In the 88th minute Silvio Benvide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Beremundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
