Aurelio Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Peru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Amato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Amato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Orlando Lia fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alejandro AFC's protests and gave Orlando Lia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, one of Alejandro AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alejandro AFC. The referee gave Västerås a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by German Gau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alejandro AFC's Gwidon Wolnik. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelio Amato to strike the kick off in the second half. Gwidon Wolnik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hipolito Maule showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Anselmo Birjaio made a precise shot to the right of Gwidon Wolnik. Alejandro AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Alejandro AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Maximiliano Pacifico hit a great ball. Gregorio Peru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Amato in the 72nd minute of play. When Aurelio Amato came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Alejandro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Amato couldn't finish the play. Conrado Quintan's late challenge caught a Västerås's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Quintan helped the player get up and apologised. 94 minutes into the match, Alejandro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Maule came free, but Gwidon Wolnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gwidon Wolnik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Västerås's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
