When Epifanio Stanislao fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.C. 1986 Vinalito's protests and gave Epifanio Stanislao a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Epifanio Stanislao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26thth minute of the game Epifanio Stanislao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Ambrosio Poz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of A.C. 1986 Vinalito booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Umea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bruno Lizardi in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xu Ang Gang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the match, A.C. 1986 Vinalito's goalkeeper Xu Ang Gang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Lizardi. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrosio Poz should have stopped the shot. After the first half A.C. 1986 Vinalito were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Semeno got free with Ambrosio Poz in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ambrosio Poz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Segio in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Stanislao came free, but Ambrosio Poz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Cristo Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boca Juniors's Ambrosio Poz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Semeno in the 70th minute of play. In the 76th minute of the match Horacio Umea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xu Ang Gang skillfully saved the ball. In the 79th minute of the match, Epifanio Stanislao tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ambrosio Poz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
