Spectators: 7120 (Terracing: 5341, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Urritz started the match with the kick off. Apolo Evarado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Javier Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 5 minutes, Fernando Urritz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garruchos and the C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Urritz hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Adrian Santiago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Evarado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Pierres having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Apolo Evarado managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's supporters rose to their feet, but Apolo Evarado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Pierres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Evarado in the 19th minute of play forced Garruchos's goalkeeper Javier Pierres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Apolo Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Rolado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's Pastor Poncio got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apolo Evarado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Javier Pierres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Apolo Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Evarado to strike the kick off in the second half. Pastor Poncio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apolo Evarado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 played minutes Garruchos got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Berart. Pastor Poncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garruchos's Javier Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Poncio in the 59th minute of play. Aaron Salomon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Poncio might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Javier Pierres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pastor Poncio ran back to his position shaking his head. Apolo Evarado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Pierres having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Urritz in the 73rd minute of play forced C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's goalkeeper Gaudencio Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 75 minutes on the clock, Baltasar Rolado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Garruchos's zone, Pastor Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Pierres came out of the goal and Pastor Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th match minute, C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Santiago to maneuver through the defense. Javier Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Poncio in the 90th minute of play. Pastor Poncio struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Javier Pierres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO. Gaudencio Tello didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Although C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO had been in control for most of the match, Garruchos still came away with the win.
