Cayetano Joanes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Gaudencio Tello made a huge save. Julio Urki made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's Vladimiro Cerilo. In the 30th minute, Ariel Joachim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Poncio. Cayetano Joanes took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaudencio Tello. Gaudencio Tello dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Adrian Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's attentive Baltasar Rolado managed to snatch the ball when Julio Urki made a throw-in in the 43rd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Pastor Poncio notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Te Falta Pichon's Costel Unciuleanu. Costel Unciuleanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Vicente Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Baltasar Rolado hit a great ball. When Cayetano Joanes came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Te Falta Pichon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Joanes couldn't finish the play. C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's Pastor Poncio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hans Caspersson, made in the 60th minute of the game. If Pastor Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Ariel Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Tello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's Gaudencio Tello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Francis in the 66th minute of play. After 69 played minutes C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Cerilo. 70 minutes into the game, Te Falta Pichon's Vicente Francis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaudencio Tello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Te Falta Pichon:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO:s goal. Gaudencio Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Ruben Telesforo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-2. Gaudencio Tello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The throw-in from Julio Urki in the 97th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A.ARGENTINO de MERLO's Adrian Santiago.
