After some careless play in the Los Buitres FC defense, Candido Frans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Rivas. The Los Buitres FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Rivas should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Candido Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Pedro Gueifão made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Rivas. Los Buitres FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. When Emanuel Elizardo came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Sportibo el Ombu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Elizardo couldn't finish the play. Sportibo el Ombu's Candido Frans got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Buitres FC's Fabio Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Frans in the 25th minute of play. Fabio Rivas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Elizardo in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Sportibo el Ombu's Celestino Otsoa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Rivas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Los Buitres FC's zone, Candido Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Rivas came out of the goal and Candido Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabio Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Gabino, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Venancio Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Tabor having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

If Venancio Osasun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Geronimo Oliveiro notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Sportibo el Ombu's Celedonio Tabor. Celedonio Tabor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Candido Frans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Rivas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After 58 played minutes Los Buitres FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Oliveiro. When Emanuel Elizardo came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sportibo el Ombu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Elizardo couldn't finish the play. In the 60thth minute of the game Pedro Gueifão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Buitres FC's Fabio Rivas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Emanuel Elizardo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Pedro Gueifão came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Sportibo el Ombu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Gueifão couldn't finish the play. Pedro Gueifão did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Fabio Rivas 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Frans in the 75th minute of play forced Los Buitres FC's goalkeeper Fabio Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Rivas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Gueifão in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Rivas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Buitres FC were furious when Faustino Bertin was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Los Buitres FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Faustino Bertin hit a great ball. Sportibo el Ombu's Rogelio Behe got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Fabio Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Emanuel Elizardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Rivas. Los Buitres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emanuel Elizardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Geronimo Oliveiro struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Celedonio Tabor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Buitres FC. If Pedro Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candido Frans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Fabio Rivas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
