Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Jon in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdulbaki Sermet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per Jansson might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abdulbaki Sermet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Per Jansson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 16th minute, Bernardo Demario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdulbaki Sermet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Jon in the 17th minute. Abdulbaki Sermet made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Froilan Perrando sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciudacita FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Urdin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Los Diablos Rojos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Per Jansson scored to the left of an out of position Abdulbaki Sermet, making the score, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Jon got free with Abdulbaki Sermet in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 minutes, Per Jansson made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Los Diablos Rojos's Abdulbaki Sermet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Los Diablos Rojos's goal looked a bit too open when Per Jansson came free, but Abdulbaki Sermet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdulbaki Sermet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobias Jon in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Los Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Abdulbaki Sermet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Jansson. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Jansson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 89th match minute, Ciudacita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Ponc to maneuver through the defense.
