With a little luck, Macomitas's Abelardo Diaz got control of the ball when Efrain Evarado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Lain's late challenge caught a Macomitas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Lain helped the player get up and apologised. Manuel Lain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Diaz having to interfere. Natalio Baudelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Mero in the 27th minute of play. When Manuel Lain was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. A collision led to El Jagüel FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Manuel Lain hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Robustiano Ritchie put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Natalio Baudelio. Rafael Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Abelardo Diaz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vicente Teyo. Efrain Evarado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Abelardo Diaz made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Mero in the 41st minute of play forced El Jagüel FC's goalkeeper Natalio Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The long shot by Rafael Vincente in the 75th minute really tested Natalio Baudelio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Robustiano Ritchie could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Natalio Baudelio however easily saved by the left post. After 86 played minutes El Jagüel FC got a freekick which was hit by Gavino Seber. Natalio Baudelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robustiano Ritchie in the 87th minute. Venancio Olivar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Natalio Baudelio made a huge save.
