With a little luck, Galeotes's Cosme Chico got control of the ball when Danilo Rivero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anacleto Oliverios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Salvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 14 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Tadeo Aimar. 19 minutes into the match, Galeotes's goalkeeper Cosme Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Rivero. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Segio in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Chico saved Galeotes from getting behind. Galeotes's Cosme Chico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iker Silban in the 23rd minute of play. The throw-in from Ceferino Godoy in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Galeotes's Silverio Indalecio. In the 35th minute, Lucio Segio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Galeotes's zone, Danilo Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Chico came out of the goal and Danilo Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nereo Gaskon fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galeotes's protests and gave Nereo Gaskon a yellow card for diving instead. 40 minutes into the match, Galeotes's goalkeeper Cosme Chico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Rivero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Salvino in the 41st minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Anacleto Oliverios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosme Chico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucio Segio in the 43rd minute of play. Galeotes's Cosme Chico proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Galeotes from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nereo Gaskon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Salvino's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Salvino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Galeotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Salvino to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute Danilo Rivero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Chico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosme Chico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 65th match minute, Galeotes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Demario to maneuver through the defense. Galeotes made a substitution. Bengt-Åke Vennerdal replaced Osvaldo Salvino. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galeotes fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Anacleto Oliverios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Gaskon in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Danilo Rivero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The supporters of Galeotes booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeo Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's Anacleto Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Gaskon in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Alfonso to maneuver through the defense. Nereo Gaskon was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Cosme Chico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucio Segio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cosme Chico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Galeotes got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Demario. After 88 minutes of play Galeotes's Clodoveo Demario was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Galeotes! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for Boca Juniors. Tadeo Aimar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cosme Chico. 3-0. With an all-out effort, Galeotes's Anacleto Oliverios threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nereo Gaskon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tadeo Aimar got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Carlos Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt-Åke Vennerdal got free with Anacleto Oliverios in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee ended the match the Boca Juniors players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
