Bonifacio Ioritz scored 0-2 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogelio Vuelta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Tense's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Tolino came free, but Rogelio Vuelta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tense's Jorge Javiar got a free kick in the 20th minute. Alberto Ascencio kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Edelmiro Urtun came free in the 33rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Rogelio Vuelta, but to the joy of Tense's supporters the ball went over. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Manantiales AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tense:s goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 51 minutes, Natalio Ordono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manantiales AFC and the Tense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Manantiales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Ordono to maneuver through the defense. Tense's Joel Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joel Stephen charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Feliciano Nalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Tense booed when Manantiales AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Manantiales AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
