The audience thought a goal was coming when Efrain Baudelio got free with Marcial Rik in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute, Romeo Olo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Honorato Goito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Neto in the 43rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Chapu's Marcial Rik got control of the ball when Efrain Baudelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Pelayo in the 63rd minute of play forced Chapu's goalkeeper Marcial Rik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benito Camerino in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Goito saved noi964 from getting behind. 69 minutes into the game, noi964's Efrain Baudelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcial Rik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 73rd minute, Chapu's Hermengildo Neto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. 78 minutes into the match, Chapu's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Tancredo came free, but Marcial Rik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Hermengildo Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Goito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hermengildo Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chapu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for noi964.
