Saul Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Satordi having to interfere. If Saul Estebano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaroslaw Klawki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ulises Gaitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melo's goalkeeper Gerardo Satordi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jaroslaw Klawki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Satordi was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After having played for 43 minutes, Jaroslaw Klawki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Grande AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Klawki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulises Gaitan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkadiusz Kolbert having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Klawki was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Emiliano Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Monte Grande AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Raphael to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Monte Grande AFC booed when Melo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslaw Klawki in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Satordi saved Melo from getting behind. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Jaroslaw Klawki sped through Melo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gerardo Satordi. In the 68th minute, Jaroslaw Klawki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Monte Grande AFC booed when Melo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Tonete didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jaroslaw Klawki might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerardo Satordi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaroslaw Klawki ran back to his position shaking his head. Ulises Gaitan hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Melo's zone, Jaroslaw Klawki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Satordi came out of the goal and Jaroslaw Klawki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gerardo Satordi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaroslaw Klawki's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Saul Estebano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Satordi having to interfere. When Alfonso Tonete fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Melo's protests and gave Alfonso Tonete a yellow card for diving instead. Alfonso Tonete hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Monte Grande AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
