In the 9th minute, Natalio Froylan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ernest Seţeanu. The goal made the score 1-0. Edgardo Castulo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Fe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Seţeanu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Victorio Enauts short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ernest Seţeanu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgardo Castulo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Zaremba in the 21st minute of play. Maciel FC's Ernest Seţeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Enaut in the 26th minute of play. If Victorio Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Platon in the 36th minute of play forced Rincón AFC's goalkeeper Edgardo Castulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natalio Froylan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ernest Seţeanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Maciel FC booed when Rincón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Mijović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernest Seţeanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Leonard Bojanowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 46 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fulgencio Francho to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Enaut in the 54th minute of play forced Maciel FC's goalkeeper Ernest Seţeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Prudencio Banegas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgardo Castulo skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Celedonio Platon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edgardo Castulo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ernest Seţeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Enaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Rincón AFC's Natalio Froylan got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Enaut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernest Seţeanu having to interfere. Edgardo Castulo was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Konrad Zaremba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Konrad Zaremba really showed his touch with that goal: 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Rincón AFC's zone, Konrad Zaremba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Castulo came out of the goal and Konrad Zaremba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Victorio Enaut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rincón AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Victorio Enaut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ernest Seţeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Victorio Enaut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Seţeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. 86 minutes into the game, Rincón AFC's Natalio Froylan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernest Seţeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. In the 95th minute, Jacinto Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rincón AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
