If Armando Manny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute of the match Benjamin Nardo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Matei showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Claudio Matei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Senio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victorio Senio might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Matei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorio Senio ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudio Matei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Senio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Armando Manny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Matei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. The Limay 9-12 fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Limay 9-12's Victorio Senio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorio Senio in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudio Matei saved Marihuana from getting behind. Jonathan Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Aureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Aureo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Celestino Alonso made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Aquilino Hustaz sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes into the match, Marihuana's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Senio came free, but Claudio Matei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niceto Vedillo fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marihuana's protests and gave Niceto Vedillo a yellow card for diving instead. Victorio Senio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Camilo Brais to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Aquilino Hustaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Alonso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorio Senio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudio Matei. That made the score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Claudio Matei successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 69 minutes into the match, Limay 9-12's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Vedillo came free, but Celestino Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th play minute Arnaldo Gaitan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claudio Matei. 0-4. 0-5 became the score in the 78th minute when Victorio Senio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Claudio Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Senio in the 87th minute of the match. Claudio Matei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match was over Limay 9-12 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marihuana throughout the match.
