CHACARITA JUNIORS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Maties was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Froilan Maties managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHACARITA JUNIORS's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Maties was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carolo Txema breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Vistalba FC's zone, Froilan Maties stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Txema came out of the goal and Froilan Maties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Maties who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Carolo Txema when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Higinio Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sotero Carrasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vistalba FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Teofilo Perez scored to the left of an out of position Carolo Txema, making the score, 1-0. When Froilan Maties came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the CHACARITA JUNIORS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Froilan Maties couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Vistalba FC's Fabian Ezkerra got a free kick in the 40th minute. Carolo Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonides Gabon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Teofilo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute, Higinio Erramun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vistalba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Maties in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carolo Txema saved Vistalba FC from getting behind. Osvaldo Chorache struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Carolo Txema didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CHACARITA JUNIORS. Froilan Maties kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to CHACARITA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Baltazar Donato hit a great ball. Higinio Erramun came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sotero Carrasco could save by the left post. CHACARITA JUNIORS's Froilan Maties got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CHACARITA JUNIORS's Teofilo Perez got a free kick in the 74th minute. Carolo Txema showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vistalba FC's goalkeeper Carolo Txema, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Vistalba FC's zone, Teofilo Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carolo Txema came out of the goal and Teofilo Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vistalba FC's Leonides Gabon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sotero Carrasco. That made the score 2-2 after 89 minutes of play. Teofilo Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
