Böðvar Eiríksson's late challenge caught a NACIONAL DE LANUS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Böðvar Eiríksson helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of NACIONAL DE LANUS booed when Chapalino FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Böðvar Eiríksson didn't get a good kick on the ball. NACIONAL DE LANUS's Lisandro Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Quexal in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Chapalino FC's Romário Balda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Silvano Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Santos Quexal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Lisandro Iago made a huge save. A collision led to Chapalino FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Marcelo Gorbea hit a great ball. Sebastian Pedroso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Severo Perrando managed to get in a good position for a shot. NACIONAL DE LANUS's supporters rose to their feet, but Severo Perrando was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmiro Constancio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Chapalino FC defense, Severo Perrando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmiro Constancio. The Chapalino FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmiro Constancio should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Pedroso to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Benat during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Chapalino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Benat to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, NACIONAL DE LANUS's goal looked a bit too open when Romário Balda came free, but Lisandro Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Koldobika recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Santos Quexal made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Iago. NACIONAL DE LANUS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Lisandro Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cebrian, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 91 minutes NACIONAL DE LANUS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Igor Cebrian who took care of the corner kick. In the 93rd minute, NACIONAL DE LANUS's Sebastian Pedroso fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Delmiro Constancio was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal.
