When Cipriano Intxixu fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Enzomania F.C.'s protests and gave Cipriano Intxixu a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Enzomania F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chanilao:s goal. In the 13th minute, Jeronimo Sotil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chanilao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ernest Ducu took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudio Lartaun. Chanilao's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Ducu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudio Lartaun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ernest Ducu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Chanilao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Ducu couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Santo Valentine to make the kick off. Enzomania F.C. were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
