The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. It was a penalty for Rossi! The referee gave Chanilao a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Ducu got free with Luis Truylos in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chanilao's Ernest Ducu was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 81st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 84th minute, Arkadiusz Luty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Santo Valentine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Truylos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ernest Ducu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Chanilao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Ducu couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Herminio Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernest Ducu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Albino Cordero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rossi's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Cordero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Sansone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
