The attack was good, but when Ulises Jesco in the 9th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Lisandro Cilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Club Ferro Carril Oeste from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Lisandro Cilio got control of the ball when Ulises Jesco tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 minutes Club Ferro Carril Oeste's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Serafino Maraman who took care of the corner kick. Denis Cordarin kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sporting Punta Alta's Serafino Maraman tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Lisandro Cilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Jesco in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Feliciano Kauldi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lisandro Cilio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Lisandro Cilio managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Sporting Punta Alta's Ulises Jesco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lisandro Cilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Isaio in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Ulises Jesco made a precise shot to the right of Lisandro Cilio. Club Ferro Carril Oeste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Feliciano Kauldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lisandro Cilio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Cresenciano having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Sporting Punta Alta's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Jeraldo came free, but Maximo Cresenciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Ferro Carril Oeste's zone, Ulises Jesco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Cilio came out of the goal and Ulises Jesco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulises Jesco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute, Serafino Maraman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sporting Punta Alta's attentive Maximo Rosario managed to snatch the ball when Ernesto Jeraldo made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Jesco in the 65th minute of play forced Club Ferro Carril Oeste's goalkeeper Lisandro Cilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentino Tolino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Maximo Cresenciano made a huge save. Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Israel Txilar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Serafino Maraman, made in the 70th minute of the game. Maximo Cresenciano made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gregorio Xabat sent off a good shot on target. Lisandro Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Jesco in the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Jesco in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lisandro Cilio saved Club Ferro Carril Oeste from getting behind. Anibal Ulizes kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Tolino during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Club Ferro Carril Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Tolino. Ulises Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Cilio having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Erubiel Onbera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Ferro Carril Oeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Punta Alta the free kick. Erubiel Onbera hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Lisandro Cilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Jesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Ulises Jesco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Cilio having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sporting Punta Alta had played much better football throughout.
