After a rather tough play, Maimará AFC's Adrian Bordat got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Fernan Jakes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maimará AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Jakes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Chesus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Chesus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernan Jakes went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 17th minute Inocencio Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Inocencio Rosio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfredo Chesus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Modesto Ugaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of GRACIAS MZ POR TODO booed when Maimará AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Magdaleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Modesto Ugaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Benicio Pero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Inocencio Rosio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Chesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Modesto Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maimará AFC's goalkeeper Benicio Pero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alfredo Chesus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Maimará AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Modesto Ugaitz made a kick off. Modesto Ugaitz scored 2-2 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Pero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, Maimará AFC's Inocencio Rosio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Inocencio Rosio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Alfredo Chesus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Ugaitz scored 3-3 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Pero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Maimará AFC's zone, Eustacio Quirce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Pero came out of the goal and Eustacio Quirce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Pero charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raimundo Pero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raimundo Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Benicio Pero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Quirce, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Fernan Jakes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GRACIAS MZ POR TODO were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
