When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Barros made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Perico in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benicio Pero saved Maimará AFC from getting behind. After having played for 57 minutes, Uriel Perico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escalada FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Perico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Escalada FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Escalada FC's Uriel Perico looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Carlos Barros came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Escalada FC fans jumped to their feet.
