When Bernardino Inocente came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Olivia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Inocente couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tambillo's zone, Fernando Matteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Machado came out of the goal and Fernando Matteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Matteo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Godofredo Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olivia FC. In the 18th minute, Fernando Matteo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Godofredo Machado. The goal made the score 2-0. Antonio Mergildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Froila in the 24th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Olivia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Froila came free, but Antonio Mergildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Olivia FC defense, Rigoberto Guillelme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antonio Mergildo. The Olivia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antonio Mergildo should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes Tambillo got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Dominix. Fernando Matteo succeeded in the game's 44th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Olivia FC's zone, Rigoberto Guillelme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Mergildo came out of the goal and Rigoberto Guillelme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 62nd minute, Fernando Matteo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Godofredo Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Godofredo Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Olivia FC's Bernardino Inocente got a free kick in the 66th minute. Emilio Froila scored 4-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Antonio Mergildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antonio Mergildo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zacarias Dominix showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 73 minute of play. Paulino Bartuelo charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
