When Godfredo Austin fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anjuli FC's protests and gave Godfredo Austin a yellow card for diving instead. Godfredo Austin kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lino Urbez during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Lino Urbez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingo Ederono in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Flavio Ulizes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half Anjuli FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patito Urbano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjuli FC the free kick. Omar Guib could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Victor Rio made a huge save. Omar Guib fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Rio having to interfere. Patito Urbano's Victor Rio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Peter in the 63rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Patito Urbano defense, Omar Guib kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Rio. The Patito Urbano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Rio should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute, Godfredo Austin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victor Rio. The goal made the score 0-3. 79 minutes into the game, Anjuli FC's Godfredo Peter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Rio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 82 minutes, Omar Guib mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anjuli FC and the Patito Urbano players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Anjuli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Guib to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Patito Urbano's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Peter came free, but Victor Rio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Ulizes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei Faustino in the 96th minute of the match. The Patito Urbano supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Anjuli FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Anjuli FC.
