Domingo Tirso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Norberto Velasco made a huge save. In the 13th minute Severiano Matteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Severiano Matteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norberto Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Bakar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Severiano Matteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teobaldo Urdin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domingo Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Velasco having to interfere. Natalio Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Tatito booed when San Jauretche FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severiano Matteo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingo Tirso took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Velasco. Norberto Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 74th play minute Severiano Matteo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Teobaldo Urdin. 2-2. Domingo Tirso scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Norberto Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Mauro Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 85th minute, Melchor Mitxaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in San Jauretche FC's zone, Domingo Tirso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Velasco came out of the goal and Domingo Tirso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Mauro Bakar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Velasco was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute Domingo Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Jauretche FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tatito.
