Camilo Fresco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervasio Phelipe in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Hodei saved Dep. Francisco from getting behind. Fabio Leizarraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Camilo Fresco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Gervasio Phelipe made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Dep. Francisco's Leonardo Hodei tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervasio Phelipe in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonardo Hodei, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gervasio Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Leonardo Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Phelipe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Hodei was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. With a little luck, Dep. Francisco's Leonardo Hodei got control of the ball when Hilario Maldonado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gervasio Phelipe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Hodei having to interfere. Leonardo Hodei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gervasio Phelipe in the 40th minute. Gervasio Phelipe did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Leonardo Hodei 41 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejandro Foro to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Saverio Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toro Viejo F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dep. Francisco the free kick. Leonardo Hodei came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Toro Viejo F.C's Aureliano Manuelo. But to his dismay, Aureliano Manuelo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 69th match minute, Dep. Francisco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Mirande to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Gervasio Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toro Viejo F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Phelipe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leonardo Hodei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gervasio Phelipe struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Leonardo Hodei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toro Viejo F.C. In the 80th match minute, Dep. Francisco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Calisto to maneuver through the defense. If Fabio Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Leonel Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 90 minutes, Gervasio Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toro Viejo F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Phelipe in the 97th minute of play forced Dep. Francisco's goalkeeper Leonardo Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
