In the 12th match minute, Gero´s Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. Dionisio Gauargi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Ebardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Gero´s Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Pancho came free, but Niceto Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 17 minutes, Americo Escobar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gero´s Team and the Klisa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Americo Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, one of Gero´s Team:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gero´s Team. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Klisa FC's Dionisio Gauargi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Niceto Ebardo. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Lucio Mikelar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gero´s Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Mikelar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Edwardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Herensuge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Niceto Ebardo made a huge save. Gero´s Team were furious when Angel Belarmo was red carded, 33 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gero´s Team! 41 minutes into the game, Jose Bieito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Klisa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gero´s Team the free kick. Eustacio Hechter was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Pancho was the one to do the kick off. Niceto Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Egoitz in the 85th minute of the match. Ermegildo Filipo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Federico Edwardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Ermegildo Filipo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 86th minute. Niceto Ebardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Pancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
