Niceto Ebardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Landeta FC's goalkeeper Faustino Cresitobalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gino Minnen. Angel Belarmo kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Niceto Ebardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Suarez in the 11th minute of play. When Ismael Cloyo fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gero´s Team's protests and gave Ismael Cloyo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gero´s Team getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ismael Cloyo hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Lucio Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Ebardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Suarez went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Niceto Ebardo came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Landeta FC's Evelio Ramos. But to his dismay, Evelio Ramos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 27 minutes, Lucio Mikelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gero´s Team and the Landeta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Mauricio Lazcano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Gero´s Team's Niceto Ebardo. Niceto Ebardo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Landeta FC booed when Gero´s Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Mikelar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Gero´s Team defense, Mario Suarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niceto Ebardo. The Gero´s Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Ebardo should have stopped the shot. With 40 minutes on the clock, Ismael Cloyo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Ismael Cloyo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Gero´s Team's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Vasco came free, but Niceto Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evelio Ramos was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Evelio Ramos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Landeta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Eustacio Hechter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gino Minnen came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Gero´s Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gino Minnen couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Landeta FC's Evelio Ramos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niceto Ebardo. That made the score 0-7 after 69 minutes of play. Niceto Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Lazcano in the 72nd minute of the match. Niceto Ebardo was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Valentin Vasco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Vasco really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. If Ermegildo Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Landeta FC booed when Gero´s Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Ramos in the 96th minute of play forced Gero´s Team's goalkeeper Niceto Ebardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Landeta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gero´s Team.
