The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Frances got free with Americo Dalmai in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basilio Frasquito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Txordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Piquillín AFC booed when Goya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy van der Linden didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piquillín AFC's Americo Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Telesforo in the 25th minute of play. Basilio Frasquito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Txordon in the 29th minute of play. Tomas Mendebal might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Americo Dalmai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 61st minute, Tomas Mendebal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Americo Dalmai was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Txordon got free with Basilio Frasquito in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Piquillín AFC's 郭川川 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basilio Frasquito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Piquillín AFC's Inocencio Eneko got a free kick in the 76th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Piquillín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Frances came free, but Americo Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Americo Dalmai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Telesforo in the 80th minute of the match. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Goya.
