Alvaro Crispo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Mariano Frances dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alvaro Crispo, 2-0. Miguel Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Crispo having to interfere. After 19 played minutes, RS1990's Adrian Hitzeder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Crispo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RS1990 reached it. After having played for 20 minutes, Miguel Olo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RS1990's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Olo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Israel Valery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvaro Crispo having to make a save. Mariano Frances struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Alvaro Crispo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RS1990. 35 minutes into the match, Adrian Hitzeder sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Alvaro Crispo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Adrian Hitzeder this time. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robustiano Ceandro in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciro Ariando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Miguel Olo came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the RS1990 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Olo couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Crispo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Frances in the 42nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Mariano Frances got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Frances stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mariano Frances recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Israel Valery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
