In the 13th minute Filiberto Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Gaur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Gaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Morón AFC's Filiberto Shantala got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the game, Moises Romero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morón AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barricada TV the free kick. Barricada TV's Rolando Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Torres in the 37th minute of play. Rolando Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Torres in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Barricada TV's Conrado Otoniel got a free kick in the 41st minute. Filiberto Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Teobaldo Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Torres was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Torres in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Gaur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Filiberto Shantala made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Gaur. Barricada TV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Torres in the 71st minute of play forced Barricada TV's goalkeeper Rolando Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Shantala might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Gaur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filiberto Shantala ran back to his position shaking his head. Baldomiro Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Teobaldo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teobaldo Torres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Gaur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Barricada TV's zone, Filiberto Shantala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Gaur came out of the goal and Filiberto Shantala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Morón AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
