Jose Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Licerio in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pepe Argento in the 24th minute of play forced Ajó's goalkeeper Ariel Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Federigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ariel Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ajó getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Lucas Nuno hit a great ball. If Pepe Argento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The goalkeeper, Jose Pietro, was totally fooled by Ajó's Paulo Romero, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Pepe Argento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Arias having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Pepe Argento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Niceto Orlandus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave la pantera azul the free kick. In the 58th minute, Niceto Orlandus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute of the match Pepe Argento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ariel Arias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Eleuterio Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Eduino, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pepe Argento in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Arias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the match Nunez Claude sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jose Pietro skillfully saved the ball. Pepe Argento in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ariel Arias, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Pepe Argento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of la pantera azul's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. la pantera azul may have spent more time on the ball, but Ajó were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
