Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Teobaldo Torres made the kick off which started today's match. When Dionisio Todor came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Cortadera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Todor couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Morón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Piarres came free, but Efrain Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Shantala took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raul Ortle. Raul Ortle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Baldomiro Gutierrez charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Gutierrez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cortadera booed when Morón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Cortadera's Adalmo Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Efrain Xabier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Morón AFC's Efrain Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Todor in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Piarres in the 24th minute of play forced Morón AFC's goalkeeper Efrain Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Cortadera were awarded a corner. Florencio Jeraldo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cortadera's Florencio Jeraldo to fire away a dangerous shot which Efrain Xabier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. During the 29th minute of the match Baldomiro Gutierrez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Baldomiro Gutierrez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 30 played minutes Morón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Gutierrez. 31 minutes into the game, Efrain Gilabert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortadera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morón AFC the free kick. A collision led to Cortadera getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Efrain Gilabert hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Filiberto Shantala got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Todor in the 36th minute of the match. Efrain Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Todor in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Cortadera's Raul Ortle got control of the ball when Filiberto Shantala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Morón AFC's Efrain Xabier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Marino in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Higinio Piarres to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Filiberto Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Ortle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Efrain Gilabert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Shantala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Ortle having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Cortadera got a freekick which was hit by Adalmo Baptista. 68 minutes into the match, Cortadera's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Shantala came free, but Raul Ortle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adalmo Baptista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filiberto Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raul Ortle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Shantala, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Morón AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cortadera:s goal. Efrain Xabier went to the wrong direction when Florencio Jeraldo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
