The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalmo Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Gutierrez in the 15th minute of play forced Cortadera's goalkeeper Raul Ortle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Pedro Gutierrez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Efrain Gilabert took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Rolando Gaur to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th play minute Dionisio Todor came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rolando Gaur. 4-0.

The wind increased when Higinio Piarres made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Barricada TV's Fernando Manilan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Ortle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adalmo Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 60 minutes on the clock, Tomas Txomin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 59 minutes into the game, one of Cortadera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pedro Gutierrez hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Rolando Gaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Higinio Piarres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Gaur was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cortadera fully deserved thier win.
